Culture is a complex issue and challenges even the best leaders when issues arise around recruitment, retention, and employee engagement. It can feel unwieldy and overwhelming, with too many possible directions to go and no guarantee that any path may make a meaningful difference.
Starting a shift in your culture doesn’t have to be complicated – the fact is, the impact one person can have in an organization is no small thing to take for granted, particularly a leader’s impact.
Leaders can create ripples that affect the organization for decades to come, and through shifts in strategy, this power the leader holds can be harnessed to direct the organization to its most constructive self. It is up to that leader, and that leader alone, to decide how they must shift their impact to drive the kind of culture that lays the foundation for excellence in service.
